Markets

I am taking a break from markets while I try to find another one that is more suitable. I am a bit disappointed that the Petrie Market wasn't quite right for me because I really enjoyed going. On the bright side this means I will have more time to devote to my online stores and I will be adding my surplus stock over the next few weeks, so keep checking for new items.

I will be checking out the Handmade Expo in Ipswich, the Artarageous Market and the Boutique Market at Portside. They look very interesting markets and I am going to have a lot fun finding a market for me.

This Week

I had a good week with a trip to Montville with a few girlfriends (Courtney, Sam and Jane), it was lovely to wander around the shops and have great lunch in such a beautiful setting.













I have starting making some new jewellery using pretty pictures and glass tiles to create a pendant. It is taking all my patience to not touch them while the glue is drying but I happy with the results - I just have to resist touching them!!!











I will be at the Petrie Market on Sunday. It should be a good day as there is 1940's festival on too. Let's hope the weather is fine.

First Blog

Well, I have joined the blogging craze!!!

I hope to be able to share some fun and creativity with anyone who will read this.

My interests are making beaded jewellery and cards, books etc. Anything pretty really. Inspiration comes from other creative people, magazines and nature.

I have two online stores at etsy.com and madeit.com and I am hoping to have a market stall as I love the atmosphere of a good market!.
